1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account, accessing ClientFive, or using any ClientFive feature, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. About ClientFive
ClientFive is a client relationship and productivity workspace for freelancers, virtual assistants, agencies, and service providers. It helps users manage client information, log interactions, track relationship health, create invoices, use VA Tools, and connect supported third-party apps.
3. Accounts and security
You are responsible for your account, password, devices, and all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your account secure, and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of information you add to ClientFive, including client records, notes, tasks, invoices, messages, files, and interaction logs. You give ClientFive a limited permission to host, process, transmit, display, and back up that content as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.
You are responsible for making sure you have the right to upload, store, or process any client, customer, business, or third-party information you add to ClientFive.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse ClientFive. You may not:
- Break the law or violate another person's rights.
- Upload malicious code, malware, or content designed to disrupt the service.
- Access, scrape, copy, or use another user's account or data without permission.
- Interfere with security, authentication, rate limits, or service operations.
- Use ClientFive to send spam, harassment, deceptive messages, or abusive content.
- Reverse engineer the service except where applicable law allows it.
6. Integrations and third-party services
If you connect a third-party service, you authorize ClientFive to access and process the information allowed by that service's permission screen. You can disconnect supported integrations through the product or the third-party service.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. ClientFive is not responsible for third-party service content, availability, changes, security, pricing, or outages.
7. AI and generated output
Some ClientFive features may generate drafts, summaries, suggestions, calculations, or other output. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it, sharing it, or sending it to clients. Generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or not suitable for your situation.
8. Payments, subscriptions, and trials
If paid plans, trials, or add-ons are offered, pricing, billing frequency, renewal terms, taxes, and cancellation options will be shown at checkout or inside the product. You are responsible for charges you authorize. Unless stated otherwise at checkout or required by law, payments are non-refundable.
9. Service changes and availability
We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue parts of ClientFive. We aim to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent access.
10. Intellectual property
ClientFive, including its software, design, branding, logos, workflows, and documentation, is owned by ClientFive or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of ClientFive to you.
11. Feedback
If you provide feedback, ideas, or suggestions, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation to improve ClientFive and related products.
12. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information. By using ClientFive, you acknowledge that information will be handled as described there.
13. Termination
You may stop using ClientFive at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk for ClientFive or other users, fail to pay amounts owed, or use the service unlawfully. After termination, some provisions will continue to apply, including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms.
14. Disclaimers
ClientFive is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and reliability.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, ClientFive will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost business opportunities, lost data, goodwill, or business interruption.
16. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold ClientFive harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your content, your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.
17. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by applicable United States law, without regard to conflict of law rules. Courts with proper jurisdiction over ClientFive and the dispute will have authority to resolve disputes, unless applicable consumer law gives you additional rights.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the date above and post the new version on this page. Continued use of ClientFive after an update means you accept the updated terms.
